Our Mission Statement
Focus
To make an impact on those in the community by providing the opportunity to volunteer and improve the lives of rurally isolated people.
Goal
To maintain the independence and improve the quality of life for people aged 65 and over and those registered disabled within the North East Northamptonshire community.
Services
The Charity offers a Community Car Scheme, Befriending Schemes, Social Activities and other Services tailored to residents’ needs, helping these individuals to live more independently and with a better quality of life.
Our Vision
We envisage a community where:
- Older and disabled residents feel valued, supported, and connected
- Rural isolation is reduced through strong volunteer networks
- Every individual has access to the services and social opportunities they need
- Independence is preserved for as long as possible
Volunteer Action strives to build a caring, inclusive community where volunteering creates real, lasting impact. By bringing people together, we not only support those who need assistance, but also strengthen the fabric of East North Northamptonshire as a whole.
