Every year, Volunteer Action undertakes fundraising initiatives to fund its work in the local community. These funds raised are vital to ensure the continuation of Volunteer Action within the community.

Winners of the VA Spring Quiz and the Answers!

VA Quiz 2025 WITH ANSWERS

Thank you to all who took part in this years Quiz – you helped raise over £500 for the Charity! 

WINNERS:

• 1st prize – £50 – Susan Bird or Finedon
• 2nd prize – £30 – Mrs P Austin or Warmington
• 3rd prize – £10 – Fiona Lloyd of Kettering

Special thanks go to Angela Hook – the quiz master. Elizabeth Clarke for selling a record amount of quizzes and to Coleman of Oundle and The Oundle Bookshop who each held quizzes to sell to the community. 

THE 200 CLUB

We also have our wonderful 200 Club. Individuals can purchased a number, from 1-200, which is entered into a monthly draw. The prizes each month are

• First prize = £150
• Second Prize = £75
• Third prize = £50
• Fourth prize = £25

The prizes will be doubled in December. Details of winners are published on the website and on our Facebook page. It is hoped that this will raise £6,000 for our work.

Past Fundraising

• The annual VA Quiz, published in the run up to Christmas, which is always fiendishly difficult,
• The Oundle Jigsaw, a jigsaw depicting the Gillian Dolby print ‘Oundle 2’, which raised over £9,000
• Oundle Playing Cards,
• Oundle Monopoly, a Business Venture by Oundle School, which raised money for Volunteer Action
• Cycle Rides
